Yes. Here are the simple steps you need to follow:

  1. Set the camera at a height between 4’6’’ and 5’6’’ from the ground to take the best photos. However, the recommended setting for high-quality photos is 5’.
  2. Make sure your photos show the ceiling and the floor. More flexibility may be possible in some situations.
  3. Avoid capturing images with the camera facing the wall directly. Slightly pan your camera to the right or left to ensure the ceiling and floor lines do not appear parallel.

Optional – High-dynamic-range (HDR) images taken using a DSLR camera with a wide-range lens are usually the best if you want to show the floor, ceiling, and walls.

Yes. You can use wide-angle lenses, but the focal length should not be more than 18 millimeters to avoid inaccurate results. If the focal length of the photo is more than 15 millimeters, Vistager will reject it. However, you can stage rejected photography by manually cropping them before uploading.

No. A tripod is not necessary. If you still want to use it, the recommended height for the camera is 5’ from the ground. You’ll take quality photos if you use this setting.

No. The recommended height is around 5’ with the minimum height being 4’6’’. If your main goal is to display a large section of the floor rather than the ceiling without affecting the quality of the photo, it’s advisable to take your photos at 5’. Also, make sure you tilt your camera down.

Yes. Photographers who are interested in showing a large section of the floor and only a small section of the ceiling should tilt their camera down to get the best results. If the rooms have high ceilings, start at 5’. You can then tilt the camera up depending on the area of the floor you want to show.
